First, I’m a mom. But I’m that relaxed mom. I believe that kids these days are better than ever; hard working, less likely to be involved in drugs or alcohol, more likely to have big future plans and goals. And I’m not wrong: here is some research! (Ooh…science!) http://monitoringthefuture.org/

I’ve been married to my husband for…a ridiculously long time. He has his own company. I don’t talk much about him because I don’t know what I’m allowed to say. But we are partners, even if he isn’t showing up here much.

And I do a lot of volunteering. I make a yearbook, I uniform the high school band, I’m on a board of directors, and I’m working hard to make the world a better place. It takes longer than you’d think!
